AI Literacy for Humans

Understand AI without the hype — then use it wisely.

OnlineIn-personHalf-dayNext: 8 November 2026

AI is transforming every industry, yet most people interact with it through a fog of marketing hype and science fiction. This workshop is designed to clear that fog. In four focused hours, you will build a grounded, practical understanding of what AI actually is, how modern systems like large language models work, and what the real capabilities and limitations look like.

The workshop is entirely non-technical — no coding, no maths. Instead, we use live demonstrations, guided exercises, and structured discussion to make abstract concepts concrete. You will work directly with AI tools, evaluate their outputs critically, and develop a personal framework for deciding when and how to use AI in your own work.

We also address the ethical dimensions: bias, privacy, environmental impact, and the changing nature of work. This is not a workshop that tells you AI will solve everything — it is one that equips you to think clearly about it.
